Course Objectives This Unit is designed to provide the candidates with detailed knowledge of contemporary tactics and operational techniques that are used to manage and control the supply chain.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to demonstrate a range of contemporary skills and techniques relevant to procurement operations and tactics
  • Will be able to evaluate the risks and economics associated with inventory control for dependent and independent demand items
  • Will be able to undertake a critical evaluation of purchasing commodities in worldwide markets
Course Description It is primarily intended for candidates who wish to aspire to a managerial position within procurement and who wish to understand the challenges of tactics and operational activities both in their own organisation and throughout the supply chain.
