Course Objectives This course is designed to allow candidates to demonstrate a knowledge of legal principles of relevant statutes which impact upon the relationship between the supplier of goods and/or services and the customer.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able explain the implications of the general principles of the law in Scotland for business transactions
  • will be able to explain the impact of relevant/appropriate statutes on the relationship between supplier, seller and buyer
  • will be able to distinguish between the duties and obligations placed on principal and agent
  • will be able to explain the legal responsibilities placed upon those engaged in a range of business organisations.
